Comedian Lavell Crawford is coming to Improv Houston on Friday, November 29th for a night of laughter—and you will want to be there! Lavell gained national exposure on NBC’s hit reality series “Last Comic Standing,” and now, the comic has new material that is sure to stun audiences at this performance on Friday!
Lavell Crawford is quickly climbing the comedic ranks and becoming one of the hottest stars in the biz today. From his numerous television appearances to his popular touring acts, audiences are becoming increasingly familiar with Lavell’s giant-sized talent. Not only did NBC take notice – promptly signing Lavell to a holding deal with the network – but Comedy Central also offered him his own half-hour standup special: “Comedy Central Presents: Lavell Crawford."
Lavell’s stand-out work includes appearances on "Shaquille O'Neal Presents: All-Star Comedy Jam," “Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam,” “Showtime at the Apollo,” “Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment,” “Steve Harvey’s Big Time,” “Comedy Central’s Premium Blend,” and “Motown Live.”
Lavell’s other credits include a one-hour special shot in his home town of St. Louis, titled “Can A Brother Get Some Love?” In addition, he filmed an episode of “Workaholics” for Comedy Central and has also been seen in a recurring role on AMC’s Emmy Award-winning series “Breaking Bad.” If that’s not enough, Lavell has also been a regular panelist on E! Entertainment’s “Chelsea Lately” and “Lopez Tonight,” performing in various comedy sketches on the show.
