Dessert lovers, mark your calendars! The first-ever Sweet Like Pan Dulce Popup event will be coming to Houston this fall. Sweet Like Pan Dulce Popup is Houston’s first Magical Pan Dulce Event created to celebrate the art and culture behind the sweetest bread in the world! Be there this Saturday, October 12th when the sweetest event around comes to The Union.
Sweet Like Pan Dulce PopUp will include a mix of local brands and creatives that will come together to enjoy the sweet taste of pan dulce. Guests will have the chance to enjoy interactive pan dulce-themed photo installations, a coffee bar, a Pan Dulce cart, music, food, drinks, and shopping.
The popup shop was created by Miradela, co-owner of HTX Boss Babes, which is an organization that hosts events for women-owned businesses. Miradela is honored to not only to host Sweet Like Pan Dulce but to also coordinate a carefully and curated event that creates opportunities for vendors.
This year Miradela is excited to announce that they have selected a local small business, La Casa Bakery & Cafe! La Casa Bakery and Café is a restaurant located in the Northside of Houston, where visitors may enjoy fresh Mexican food and specialty treats, served daily and all seven days of the week.
This event will be held at The Union. The Union HTX is an exhibitions and events venue in Houston’s Old Sixth Ward. The Union hosts community programs to showcase the work of creatives of all kinds, and also rents out space for special events & receptions.
