The Museum of Fine Arts Houston Presents Florescence—Just In Time for Spring!

Presented by River Oaks Garden Club, The Garden Club of Houston, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the 13th biennial event showcases floral and horticultural arrangements created and cultivated by entrants for this year’s theme of “Time.” If flowers bring you happiness, then this event is for you!

Floral designers, botanical artists, and horticulture enthusiasts from around the country will convene in Houston this April for Florescence, one of the nation’s largest competitive flower shows. Florescence is a competitive flower show that challenges designers to create floral arrangements and installations pulling inspiration from the Museum’s surrounding art collections.

In addition to Floral Design, the show’s other categories include horticulture, horticulture design, photography, botanical arts, needle arts, and conservation. The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is one of the largest museums in the United States and can’t wait to see you at this beautiful showcase on Tuesday, April 16th!
